Poetry

So poetry is pretty awesome. It is yet another form of beauty; that is, artistic expression through words, rhyme, and meter. As a wise, yet unnamed, man once said,

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."

(Just kidding! That was Henry David Thoreau. Still pretty wise, but he's actually named)

The poetry posted on this page may or may not fit with the rest of Sheep in the Wolf Pack. Some of it may be dark, some may be suspenseful, but some will be upbeat. All, however, will have an idealistic theme, if you but search deep enough to find it. Just as everything has good in the world, everything has meaning beyond that which we initially see.

So poetry! Look here for linguistic art by amazing poets and philosophers (and some of my own creations!).

P.S. That quote is from Thoreau's book, Walden, published in 1854.
